Job summary

Sportsman’s Warehouse Sheridan, CO is hiring a Team Lead to support the Store Management Team and Outfitters during each shift. You will supervise daily store operations, coach employees, and ensure operational excellence while maintaining a safe, high‑quality shopping environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in a retail environment in a customer service focused position.
• Experience within an outdoor and/or sporting goods focused retailer.
• Experience in a team lead and/or supervisory role preferred but not required.
• Basic knowledge of relevant software and tools, including Tomax, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Cisco phone system, and UKG.

Responsibilities

• Team Support and Guidance: act as primary resource for hourly team members and provide training and guidance.
• Operational Support: oversee daily store operations and adapt to business needs.
• Employee Supervision: monitor attendance, performance, and policy adherence; participate in onboarding.
• Sales and Customer Engagement: deliver excellent service, drive sales, and ensure store cleanliness and safety.
• Compliance and Risk Management: ensure compliance with regulations including ATF rules; maintain records.
• Other Responsibilities: perform additional tasks as assigned by Store Management.
