Job summary

Sportsman’s Warehouse in Carson City, NV is seeking a Team Lead who will support the Store Manager in daily operations and guide a high-performing team. You will supervise select departments, coach Outfitters, and drive store performance with a focus on operational excellence.

The role requires 2+ years in retail, strong customer service, and experience in leadership. Competitive wage of $23.10–$25.41 per hour, with benefits and opportunities for advancement. Flexibility for nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in a retail environment in a customer service focused position.
• Experience within an outdoor and/or sporting goods focused retailer.
• Experience in a team lead and/or supervisory role preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Lead, train, and mentor team members while fostering engagement, accountability, and high performance.
• Maintain clear, ongoing communication with Outfitters to clarify expectations, train on knowledge and skills, and address employee concerns.
• Support the performance evaluation process by providing constructive feedback to employees.
• Assist in hiring, training, and onboarding new team members to ensure smooth integration into the store culture.
