Job summary

Capriotti’s Sandwich Shop in Springfield, MO is hiring a Restaurant Shift Lead to guide daily operations, coach team members, and deliver outstanding guest service in a fast‑paced environment.

You’ll supervise staff, uphold food safety standards, and partner with management on scheduling, training, and performance feedback, with opportunities for advancement within the brand.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in restaurant, food service, hospitality, or retail leadership preferred.
• Experience as a Shift Lead, Crew Leader, Team Lead, or Assistant Manager is a plus.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support team members during daily restaurant operations
• Delegate tasks and ensure all shift duties are completed efficiently
• Maintain Capriotti’s standards for food quality, speed of service, and cleanliness
• Provide excellent guest service and resolve customer concerns professionally
• Follow company policies for food safety, sanitation, and cash handling
• Assist with scheduling support, labor management, and inventory monitoring
• Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout kitchen and dining areas
• Support smooth shift transitions through clear communication with management
• Recognize and encourage team performance and positive contributions
