Job summary

Five Guys in Pasadena, CA is seeking a Shift Leader to lead daily operations and set the tone for each shift. You’ll work side-by-side with your team, deliver fast, friendly service, and ensure guests leave impressed.

With 1–2 years of restaurant or hospitality experience, you’ll coach crew members, manage breaks and cash handling, and help train new hires while upholding brand standards and safety policies.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of restaurant, retail, or hospitality experience, leadership preferred.
• Strong communication skills and a team-first mindset.
• Ability to stay calm and make quick decisions in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

• Lead the shift and run operations when management isn’t on site.
• Jump into every position—cashier, grill, prep, fries, dining room.
• Deliver fast, accurate service and create a great guest experience.
• Coach, support, and motivate crew members to perform at their best.
• Help train new team members and build a strong, positive culture.
• Keep the restaurant clean, safe, and up to brand standards.
• Manage shift tasks like breaks, cash handling, and closing reports.
