Job summary

Nando's is seeking a Shift Lead to inspire and coach a team in a fast-paced, casual dining environment. You’ll step into supervisory roles, balance opening/closing duties, and ensure food safety and guest satisfaction on every shift.

If you communicate well in English, pass background checks, and can obtain required food-handling licenses, you can grow into future leadership roles at Nando's.

Qualifications

• Complete onsite Shift Lead Training in one of our Nando's restaurants.
• Comfortable with verbal and written English communication.
• Must pass a background check.
• Be able to hold a food handlers and alcohol serving license as needed by the restaurant’s jurisdiction.
• Possess excellent communication skills to navigate and resolve situations with both Nandocas and guests.

Responsibilities

• Lead all shifts to Nando’s food safety and operational standards while providing an excellent and safe guest and Nandoca experience.
• Practice and ensure responsible cash handling following Nando's policies.
• Ensure the safety and security of people and restaurant, including keys, doors, and alarms.
• Execute opening duties, review logs, prep, inventory, and end-of-day reporting to set up the next shift.
