Job summary

Shake Shack in Tacoma, WA is seeking an energetic restaurant leader to oversee shift operations, ensure safety, cleanliness, quality and speed, and help build a high performing team of hourly Team Members.

You will participate in interviews, assist with employee relations, and contribute to a positive guest experience in a fast-paced hospitality environment with competitive starting rates.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of restaurant leadership experience.
• Food Safety Certification according to local jurisdiction.
• Strong problem solving skills.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Manage the flow of service and direct the work of team members on a shift to ensure the highest levels of safety, cleanliness, quality, and speed.
• Help build and lead high performing team of hourly Team Members.
• May assist with operational support functions (i.e. Purchasing, Receiving, Inventory, etc.)
• Participates in applicant interviews and assists with employee relations.
