Job summary

Five Guys is seeking a Shift Leader to lead by example and run operations when management isn't on site. You’ll supervise on-shift crew, ensure fast, accurate service, and deliver a great guest experience.

In a busy kitchen, you will train new team members, coach staff, maintain brand standards, and handle breaks, cash handling, and closing reports while fostering a positive culture. Health and safety are priority.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of restaurant/retail/hospitality experience, leadership preferred.
• Basic math and comfort using POS systems.
• Food safety certification (ServSafe) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the shift and run operations when management isn't on site.
• Work across cashier, grill, prep, fries, and dining room roles.
• Deliver fast, accurate service and guest experiences.
• Coach and motivate crew to perform at their best.
• Train new team members and build a positive culture.
