Job summary

Smoothie King is seeking a Shift Lead to act as Team Leader in our Atlanta location. You will guide daily operations, assist guests with smoothie selections, and train Team Members when the General Manager is not present. The role emphasizes guest-focused service, upselling, and adherence to brand standards.

The ideal candidate will work on-site, demonstrate composure under pressure, and help maintain the high quality and consistency of store performance and guest experience.

Responsibilities

• Thinks on their feet at all times regardless of internal or external pressures
• Informs General Manager of problems or unusual matters of significance
• Assists Team Members at the point of sale with upselling
• Ensures deployment maps are in use and Team Members understand assigned stations
• Assists in Team Member management during scheduled shifts
• Supports and adheres to standards for operations, marketing/communications and brand identity
• Encourages Team Members on shift to exceed goals and complete all checklist tasks
• Fulfills cash handling and inventory reporting responsibilities with honesty
• Is trusted with sensitive information from both their Team and General Manager
• Lives and promotes the culture, values, vision, and mission of Smoothie King
• Demonstrates the company’s standards when completing tasks around the store
• Is responsible for product and Guest Service experience
• Greets and engages with Guests to provide a friendly experience
• Ensures shift Team Members demonstrate a “Guest comes first” attitude
• Blends smoothie according to the recipe ticket for a consistent taste
• Is willing to take on new tasks and asks for feedback from General Manager
