Job summary

RaceTrac seeks a Shift Manager to lead a fast-paced store team in a guest‑focused environment. You’ll drive daily operations, coach associates, and ensure outstanding customer service while managing food safety, inventory, and cash handling.

Ideal candidates have 2–3 years in retail or food service and at least 1 year of leadership. A high school diploma or GED is required; willingness to obtain required permits is expected. This role offers growth opportunities within RaceTrac.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of work experience (retail, restaurant, or food service preferred).

Responsibilities

• Provide clear direction and assist with food service, stocking, cleaning, or cash handling.
• Coach team members in real‑time, offering guidance and support during every shift.
• Address guest concerns with empathy and professionalism, escalating when necessary.
• Train and guide your team to meet guest service, food safety, and cleanliness standards.
• Oversee key store processes including write‑offs, cash wrap, and compliance documentation.
• Lead shift change communication and ensure team alignment throughout the day.
