RaceTrac is seeking a hands-on Shift Manager to lead a fast-paced store team, drive guest satisfaction, and uphold safety and cleanliness standards. You’ll coach employees, handle daily operations, and ensure smooth shift transitions.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of work experience in retail, restaurant, or food service.
• 1+ years of leadership or supervisory experience.
• Comfort in fast-paced, high-volume guest-focused environments.
• Ability to follow through on tasks and coach others to do the same.
• Strong communication and team-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead a cheerful demeanor on shift and motivate the team.
• Provide clear direction and step in on food service, stocking, cleaning or cash handling.
• Coach team members in real time and offer guidance during shifts.
• Address guest concerns with empathy and professionalism.
• Model and enforce RaceTrac policies, food safety and cleanliness standards.
• Train team members on new policies and processes.
• Oversee inventory control, vendor check-in and promotions communication.
• Ensure proper cash wrap and write-offs handling.
• Lead shift change communications and keep the team aligned.
• Maintain knowledge of safety regulations and required documentation.
• Escalate issues to management when needed.
