Dogtopia of Arlington Heights is seeking a Shift Lead to manage the front-of-house during evening and weekend shifts and to greet families as they arrive. You will help families choose the right plan for their dog and coordinate with the Canine Coaches to ensure smooth operations.
You will also follow up with families after visits to ensure no one falls through the cracks, answer questions about daycare, boarding and spa, and help the team deliver outstanding customer service in a welcoming
Start at $19/hour, moving to $20/hour after your first 90 days, plus a bonus every time you help a new family join under enrollment at Dogtopia. Continue earning increases based on tenure and performance.
Weekday afternoons and evenings, plus rotating Saturdays.
And yes, you can bring your dog to work.

You are the face of Dogtopia for every family who walks in during your shift, and you are the person the team looks to when the General Manager is not here.
You will:
Customer service, retail, hospitality, veterinary or front desk experience all translate well here. No professional dog experience? We train you. Already have dog daycare experience? Even better.
Team members who move into full-time status can become eligible for benefits after 90 days while consistently working at least five shifts per week. Benefits include health insurance, paid time off and a retirement plan.
Our team receives structured training in dog behavior, body language, positive reinforcement, redirection, safe playroom management and canine care. As a Shift Lead you also get coached on leading a shift and on guiding families to the right plan for their dog.
