Job summary

Dogtopia is hiring a Part-time Canine Concierge to be the first point of contact for Pet Parents in our Madison, AL location. You will sell daycare enrollments, lead tours, and book Meet & Greet appointments while providing exceptional customer service.

You will manage phone and text communications, respond to inquiries, and help maintain a positive, energetic front desk environment with a focus on teamwork and guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated customer service experience in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to upsell and present services to customers.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills in a front-desk setting.

Responsibilities

• Sell daycare enrollments and package deals to pet parents.
• Lead guided tours of the facility for prospective clients.
• Schedule Meet & Greet appointments and follow up with leads.
• Answer phones and respond to emails from Pet Parents.
• Maintain a clean, organized Front Desk area and POS workflow.
• Post updates to social media and support team communications.

We are looking to make 2 hires (PT). Candidates should LOVE dogs and be proactive in their development towards becoming better canine citizens - and, upon successful completion of training, can even bring their dog to work!

Day-to-Day Duties

• Selling daycare enrollments
• Leading tours of our facility
• Booking Meet & Greet appointments over the phone
• Making phone calls to leads
• Following up with Pet Parents and Dogs via phone and text
• Posting to Instagram and Facebook
• Using computer software, including MS Office, iOS, and more
• Multitasking to deliver excellent customer service while balancing the needs of Canine Coaches in the playrooms
• Cleaning
• Managing a POS system
• Greeting EVERYONE who walks into Dogtopia!

Responsibilities

• Maintain and update the cleaning schedule while holding yourself and the team accountable to Dogtopia's safety and cleaning standards.
• Manage inventory of office supplies.
• Communicate behavior modification plans and any behavior challenges to Pet Parents.
• Provide excellent customer service and presentation.
• Maintain a neat and organized Front Desk team and area at all times.
• Be a self-starter with VERY STRONG organizational skills.
• Set the example for the team on the 3 S's - Smile, Story, and Satisfaction - and hold the team accountable to internal and external customer service standards.
• Answer phones, emails, and questions from Pet Parents.

As the Canine Concierge, you are responsible for working with all customers and team members to ensure our customer experience meets the highest standards and delivers exceptional customer satisfaction.

Job Type: Part-time
