Job summary

Dogtopia in San Diego, CA is seeking a Canine Concierge for a part-time role. You will greet customers, sell daycare enrollments, lead tours, book Meet & Greet appointments, and manage the front desk with a friendly, proactive approach.

You will handle phone and text follow-ups, light cleaning, and POS tasks while delivering outstanding customer service and representing the Dogtopia brand. Must love dogs and enjoy a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service and upselling is a plus.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Sell daycare enrollments and lead facility tours.
• Book Meet & Greet appointments by phone.
• Make follow-up calls/texts to leads and Pet Parents.
• Post content to Instagram and Facebook.
• Use MS Office and manage POS system.
• Greet customers and maintain a clean, organized front desk.
• Support Canine Coaches and ensure safety standards.
• Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction and drive reviews.

Day-to-Day Duties

• Selling daycare enrollments
• Leading tours of our facility
• Booking Meet & Greet appointments over the phone
• Making phone calls to leads
• Following up with Pet Parents and Dogs via phone and text
• Posting to Instagram and Facebook
• Using computer software, including MS Office, iOS, and more
• Multitasking to deliver excellent customer service while balancing the needs of Canine Coaches in the playrooms
• Cleaning
• Managing a POS system
• Greeting EVERYONE who walks into Dogtopia!

Responsibilities

• Maintain and update the cleaning schedule while holding yourself and the team accountable to Dogtopia’s safety and cleaning standards.
• Manage inventory of office supplies.
• Communicate behavior modification plans and any behavior challenges to Pet Parents.
• Provide excellent customer service and presentation.
• Maintain a neat and organized Front Desk team and area at all times.
• Be a self-starter with VERY STRONG organizational skills.
• Set the example for the team on the 3 S’s — Smile, Story, and Satisfaction — and hold the team accountable to internal and external customer service standards.
• Answer phones, emails, and questions from Pet Parents.

As the Canine Concierge, you are responsible for working with all customers and team members to ensure our customer experience meets the highest standards and delivers exceptional customer satisfaction.

Job Type: Part-time

Compensation: $17.25 per hour
