Job summary

Dogtopia in Indianapolis is seeking a Part-time Front Desk Canine Concierge. You will be the first point of contact for Pet Parents, selling daycare enrollments, leading facility tours, booking Meet & Greet appointments, and handling calls and messages with a friendly, proactive approach.

Responsibilities

• Sell daycare enrollments and book Meet & Greet appointments.
• Lead tours of the facility and greet guests at front desk.
• Answer phones, emails, and questions from Pet Parents; manage a POS system.
• Maintain a neat front desk area and provide excellent customer service.
• Stand for long periods and work in a fast-paced, team environment.

About this position

Dogtopia, the industry leader in dog daycare, boarding, and spa services has immediate openings for energetic, organized, business-minded individuals that will be the first point of contact as Canine Concierge. We are looking to make 2 hires (PT). Candidates should LOVE dogs and be proactive in their development towards becoming better canine citizens - and, upon successful completion of training, can even bring their dog to work!

Day-to-Day Duties

• Selling daycare enrollments
• Leading tours of our facility
• Booking Meet & Greet appointments over the phone
• Making phone calls to leads
• Following up with Pet Parents and Dogs via phone and text
• Posting to Instagram and Facebook
• Using computer software, including MS Office, iOS, and more
• Multitasking to deliver excellent customer service while balancing the needs of Canine Coaches in the playrooms
• Cleaning
• Managing a POS system
• Greeting EVERYONE who walks into Dogtopia!

Responsibilities

• Maintain and update the cleaning schedule while holding yourself and the team accountable to Dogtopia’s safety and cleaning standards.
• Manage inventory of office supplies.
• Communicate behavior modification plans and any behavior challenges to Pet Parents.
• Provide excellent customer service and presentation.
• Maintain a neat and organized Front Desk team and area at all times.
• Be a self-starter with VERY STRONG organizational skills.
• Set the example for the team on the 3 S’s — Smile, Story, and Satisfaction — and hold the team accountable to internal and external customer service standards.
• Answer phones, emails, and questions from Pet Parents.
• Strive for high customer review ratings!

As the Canine Concierge, you are responsible for working with all customers and team members to ensure our customer experience meets the highest standards and delivers exceptional customer satisfaction.
