Job summary

The Shift Leader at Krystal Restaurants Career Center supports daily restaurant operations, helping drive the Brand Vision and Promise. This role trains and coaches staff, ensures food safety, and upholds Krystal’s standards across service, quality and cost control during shifts.

Qualified candidates bring ServSafe certification, a high school diploma or GED, and 1+ year restaurant experience with proficiency in Microsoft Office. Flexible scheduling is required.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old and ServSafe certified.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred, with 1+ years restaurant experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and basic computer skills.
• Ability to work flexible days, nights, weekends and travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Support store management in daily restaurant operations.
• Model Krystal's values and train/coaching A+ talent to drive results.
• Lead customer service, food safety and cost-control practices during shifts.
• Collaborate with management on plans, programs and performance management.
