Job summary

Pilot Company is seeking a customer-focused Cashier Lead to join our Gary, IN travel center. You will supervise 1–2 cashiers, process all cash, credit, and debit transactions, and ensure a smooth, friendly guest experience.

You'll maintain an organized workspace, adhere to alcohol/tobacco guidelines, and support deli and general center tasks as needed while delivering quality service and resolving guest issues per company standards.

Qualifications

• Experience handling cash transactions and point-of-sale systems.
• Ability to supervise 1–2 cashiers during shifts.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead a shift of 1–2 cashiers to process cash, credit, and debit transactions.
• Complete end-of-shift reports and close out procedures.
• Maintain an organized, clean work area and follow guidelines for restricted items.
• Deliver quality service and resolve guest issues per company processes.
• Assist with travel center duties as needed.
