Pilot Company is hiring for a Guest Services role at our travel center. You will lead a shift of 1–2 cashiers, process cash, credit, and debit transactions, and ensure guest satisfaction.

You will close out end-of-shift reports and follow all safety and policy guidelines. Responsibilities include maintaining a clean work area, promoting products, handling complaints, supervising break schedules, and assisting with deli, restrooms, stocking, and coffee making.

• Lead a shift of one-to-two cashiers to process all types of cash, credit, and debit transactions
• Complete end-of-shift reports and close out procedures
• Follow company and local guidelines with regards to the sale of any restricted merchandise items (e.g., alcohol, tobacco)
• Maintain an organized and clean work area
• Use suggested selling methods to promote and sell products
• Ensure quality service is delivered to every guest
• Handle guest complaints and issues by following company processes and guidelines; resolve team member conflict; and communicate issues to management
• Determine break schedules and team member placement during shift
• Assist with other travel center functions such as maintaining deli, cleaning showers and restrooms, stocking, making coffee, etc.
• Model behaviors that support the company’s common purpose; ensure guests and team members are supported at the highest level
• Ensure all activities are in compliance with rules, regulations, policies, and procedures
• Complete other duties as assigned
