Job summary

Peet’s Coffee is hiring a Shift Lead to manage daily shift operations at our Belmont, CA location. You will supervise team tasks, ensure smooth service, and uphold espresso craft and store standards.

You’ll lead opening/closing routines, handle cash with care, and support inventory and visual updates while delivering warm, engaging customer experiences. A flexible part-time schedule supports your work‑life balance.

Qualifications

• 1 year experience in a leadership role or directing others.
• 1 year experience with POS/cash handling responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead shifts with focus and clarity, manage task deployment and day-to-day operations.
• Deliver exceptional customer experiences with friendly service, high product quality and a welcoming coffeebar.
• Communicate clearly, collaborate effectively, and model accountability and reliability.
• Open/close routines, cash handling, inventory tasks, and visual updates during shifts.
