Job summary

Peet's Coffee in Kansas is seeking a Shift Lead to manage daily ops, lead a small team, and ensure exceptional customer service. You will handle cash, assist with inventory, and maintain a welcoming coffee bar environment.

The role requires 1 year in a leadership or direct staff role, POS experience, and a flexible schedule including mornings, nights, and weekends. Peet's offers competitive pay and growth opportunities in a busy store setting.

Qualifications

• 1 year experience in a leadership role or directing others.
• 1 year experience with POS/cash handling responsibilities.
• Availability to work a schedule of at least three days per week to meet business needs (early mornings, evenings, weekends, holidays).
• Must be legally eligible to work in the United States.
• Must be 18 years or older and comply with company policies.
• Must be able to perform physical tasks during shifts (see Physical Requirements).

Responsibilities

• Lead shifts with focus and clarity and manage day-to-day operations in a fast-paced environment.
• Deliver exceptional customer experiences with genuine engagement and high product quality.
• Maintain a clean, welcoming coffeebar and support a positive team environment.
• Execute opening/closing routines, cash handling, inventory tasks, and visual updates.
