Job summary

Murphy USA Inc. is hiring part-time Shift Leads to join a large national network of gasoline and convenience stores. You will deliver prompt, courteous customer service, operate the register, and support store operations to meet performance goals.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED (or equivalent experience), cash handling experience, a valid driver’s license, and physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds. This position offers opportunities for advancement within the store network.

Qualifications

• HS diploma / GED, or at least 6 months of related job experience
• Minimum 3 months of Cashier experience
• Must have valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Must be able to perform repeated bending, standing, and reaching; lift up to 50 pounds

Responsibilities

• Providing prompt, efficient, and courteous customer experience
• Responding to and resolving customer requests and concerns
• Operating cash register
• Ensure fuel and merchandise is available for customers
• Maintaining a clean and safe environment
• Supporting the Store Manager in all store operations
• Leading the team to exceed store performance goals and objectives
• Performing job-related duties as assigned
• In management absence, provide backup duties including paperwork, problem resolution, video review, plan-o-gram compliance, inventory ordering, product counting and training new employees
