Freddy's Frozen Custard & Steakburgers is seeking a part-time Shift Manager to lead assigned shifts, ensure consistent execution of restaurant operations, and support the management team. The role emphasizes hands-on leadership, food safety, and coaching Team Members during each shift.

Qualifications

• Previous restaurant or retail experience preferred.
• Prior leadership or team lead experience preferred.
• Prior training or onboarding experience preferred.
• Ability to lead a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic understanding of restaurant operations and food safety.
• Experience with cash handling procedures.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• ServSafe Certification preferred (or ability to obtain).
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.
• Flexible part-time availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Lead shifts and support team members to deliver quality food and great service.
• Manage workflow, positioning, and shift execution.
• Ensure food safety, cleanliness, and operational standards are met.
• Coach and support team members during the shift.
• Assist with cash handling and basic financial procedures.
• Provide direction, coaching, and support to Team Members during shifts.
• Reinforce performance expectations and promote accountability.
• Support a positive, team-oriented work environment.
• Assist in developing team members through on-the-job coaching and feedback.
• Communicate effectively with Team Members and management.
