Job summary

Dairy Queen in Fountain Hills is seeking an experienced shift leader to assist the GM and Assistant Managers in running a high-volume restaurant. You will oversee daily operations, ensure quality and speed of service, manage inventory and labor, and foster a positive, customer-focused environment.

The role requires strong leadership, training ability, and adherence to food safety standards, with a focus on coaching staff to deliver consistent guest experiences and drive store performance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1-3 years of high volume restaurant leadership experience, required.
• Previous quick service restaurant experience strongly preferred.
• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Proven track record of effectively managing COGS and labor.
• Strong knowledge and application of safe food handling practices.
• Must be ServSafe certifiable.

Responsibilities

• Manage entire operation of restaurant during scheduled shifts, ensuring quality, service and atmosphere.
• Train and coach shift leads and crew on PRIDE systems, recipes, food safety and routines.
• Assist GM with business planning, cash control, inventory and labor management.
• Ensure fan service standards are met and customer concerns are addressed promptly.
• Lead recruitment, training and performance feedback for staff; schedule hourly employees.
• Maintain health and safety standards and sanitation procedures.
• Support local marketing efforts and store promotions.
• Handle responsibilities during high-volume periods and ensure rapid response to bottlenecks.
