Job summary

Taco Bell in McFarland, CA is seeking a Shift Manager to ensure team members complete assigned duties and serve safe, quality food in a friendly manner. You will support the Restaurant General Manager by running strong shifts and upholding Taco Bell standards.

You take ownership to solve problems, guide others, train staff, maintain speed of service, and keep a clean, safe work environment. Flexibility for nights, weekends, and holidays is required.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months' work experience in a food or customer service position with responsibility for running a shift.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers by taking orders, processing sales and monies, and responding to customer requests.
• Resolves customer complaints quickly and with a smile.
• Trains and motivates team members; maintains speed of service on shift.
• Prepares food products and maintains quality to meet company standards.
• Monitor all service equipment.
• Ensure a clean and safe work environment including parking lot, building exterior, dumpsters and sidewalks, and removal of trash to proper dumpster sites.
• Communicate openly and honestly with Restaurant Management about operational issues.
• Ensure food levels are maintained to meet business needs and stock as needed.
• Build team morale through recognition and motivation efforts.
• Prepare deposits; provide feedback on schedules, product projections, financials for store manager's review/approval.
• Ensure staff comply with all policies, procedures, and standards.
• Other duties as assigned.
