Job summary

Taco Bell in California is seeking a Shift Manager to lead team members, ensure safety, and deliver quality food with a friendly service approach. You will support the Restaurant General Manager and drive shifts that meet Taco Bell standards.

You take ownership to solve problems, guide others, and help maintain a clean, safe restaurant while ensuring financials and schedules are aligned with store goals.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months of work experience in a food or customer service position with responsibility for running a shift.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Friendly attitude and strong customer service.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
• Detail oriented with strong math and cash handling skills.
• Ability to lead a team and make quick, quality decisions.
• Takes ownership and responsibility to solve problems.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers by taking orders, processing sales and monies, and responding to customer requests.
• Resolves customer complaints quickly and with a smile.
• Trains and motivates team members; maintains speed of service.
• Prepares food products and maintains quality to company standards.
• Monitor all service equipment and ensure a safe, clean work environment.
• Communicate openly with Restaurant Management about operational issues and concerns.
• Ensure adequate food levels and stock as needed; manage deposits and schedules.
• Build team morale through recognition and motivation.
• Ensure staff comply with policies, procedures, and standards.
• Other duties as assigned.
