Five Guys is hiring a Shift Leader to steer daily operations and set the tone on each shift. You’ll lead by example, work side-by-side with your team, and ensure every guest walks out impressed.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years in restaurant or hospitality with leadership capabilities, strong communication, and the ability to stay cool under pressure in a fast-paced setting. On-site roles with competitive hourly pay plus tips and bonus potential.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of restaurant, retail, or hospitality experience (leadership preferred).
• Team-first mindset with strong communication skills.
• Leads by doing, not just directing.
• Ability to stay calm and make decisions in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic math and comfort using POS systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead the shift and step in to run operations when management isn’t on site.
• Jump into every position—cashier, grill, prep, fries, dining room—no task is too small.
• Deliver fast, accurate service and create a great guest experience every time.
• Coach, support, and motivate crew members to perform at their best.
• Help train new team members and build a strong, positive culture.
• Keep the restaurant clean, safe, and up to brand standards.
• Manage shift tasks like breaks, cash handling, and closing reports.
