Five Guys is seeking a Shift Leader to run operations on shift, lead by example, and work side-by-side with the team to deliver outstanding guest experiences. This fast-paced role offers growth opportunities, hands-on leadership, and daily exposure to all restaurant operations.

You will jump into cashier, grill, prep, and dining room roles, maintaining brand standards while coaching teammates and ensuring smooth shifts.

Qualifications

1–2 years of restaurant, retail, or hospitality experience (leadership preferred).
A team-first mindset with strong communicationskills.
Someone who leads by doing—not just directing.
Ability to stay cool and make decisions in a fast-paced environment.
Basic math and comfort using POS systems.

Responsibilities

Lead the shift and step in to run operations when management isn’t on site.
Jump into every position—cashier, grill, prep, fries, dining room—no task is too small.
Deliver fast, accurate service and create a great guest experience every time.
Coach, support, and motivate crew members to perform at their best.
Help train new team members and build a strong, positive culture.
Keep the restaurant clean, safe, and up to brand standards.
Manage shift tasks like breaks, cash handling, and closing reports.
