Job summary

NRG Adventure Park is seeking a Shift Lead to help ensure each shift runs smoothly, safely, and with maximum fun. You will supervise staff, deliver excellent guest service, and handle opening/closing tasks to maintain park operations.

Ideal candidates have 18+ years old with supervisory experience, strong communication, and cash handling skills. A flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends, is required in this dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Experience in a supervisory or leadership role preferred.
• Cash handling experience strongly preferred.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to lead a team in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods (up to 8–10 hours) and lift up to 25–50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support team members during your shift, ensuring high standards of guest service and safety.
• Open and close the park, following procedures for setup, shutdown, and security.
• Count tills, reconcile cash drawers, and ensure accurate cash handling practices.
• Assist with training new team members and provide ongoing coaching.
• Handle guest questions, concerns, and escalations professionally.
• Monitor park activity areas and ensure safety rules are followed.
• Perform routine inspections and report maintenance or safety issues.
• Complete shift paperwork and communicate updates to management.
• Assist with scheduling, break management, and shift coverage as needed.
• Support front desk, café, and activity areas as required.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and energetic environment for guests and staff.
