Job summary

Buffalo Wild Wings in Speedway, IN is seeking a Shift Leader to support the management team during peak periods and cover shifts as needed. You will oversee front-of-house and heart-of-house operations, ensure guest satisfaction, and uphold safety and quality standards.

Lead and coach team members, conduct pre-shift meetings, monitor labor and inventory, handle cash drawers, and ensure compliance with alcohol service policies and daily paperwork.

Qualifications

• Leadership and facilitation abilities with fellow Team Members and management.
• Knowledgeable in all functional areas of restaurant operations.
• Superior verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to take and give direction, and execute team and company objectives.
• Knowledgeable about current marketing initiatives and up‑coming events to inform guests and Team Members.
• Knowledgeable of proper sanitation, food safety, and security procedures; basic mathematical skills.
• Knowledge of RAS (responsible alcohol service) procedures as defined by laws and policy.
• Knowledge of commonly ordered drinks and food items; high degree of customer service.
• Knowledge of Operations; ability to resolve Guest issues.
• Knowledge of all menu and drink items to ensure quality and coach others.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach Team Members and manage shift performance.
• Open/close the restaurant with required paperwork.
• Ensure 100% table visits and resolve Guest issues during the shift.
• Monitor food quality, labor, safety, and alcohol service compliance.
• Conduct pre-shift team meetings and communicate shifts highlights.
• Manage labor on the shift and breakdown cash drawers.
• Perform safeties audits and daily paperwork (CVDs, pulls, and reconciliations).
• Monitor Guest and Team Member safety and security throughout the shift.
