Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a store associate in University Place, WA to support opening and closing procedures, ensure the floor and stock room are ready for the business day, and assist with deliveries.

You will handle cash, assist customers, maintain shelves, and perform basic backroom duties while delivering a friendly shopping experience.

Candidates should have at least one year of leadership or key-holder experience. A pharmacy license or PTCB certification is preferred where required by state law.

Qualifications

• One year of prior leadership, supervisory, or retail key holder work experience.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.

Responsibilities

• Open and close store in the absence of management, including all required systems start-ups and cash handling.
• Complete product returns, order voids, customer refunds, cash drops to the safe, and provide change to registers.
• Models and delivers a distinctive and delightful customer experience.
