Job summary

Walgreens in Aurora, Colorado is seeking a Store Associate to open and close the store in the absence of management, perform cash handling, and ensure floor and stock room readiness for the business day.

You will engage customers, resolve questions, assist with merchandise, manage basic pricing and displays, and support back-of-house tasks including inventory accuracy and vendor deliveries, while upholding company standards.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of leadership or key holder experience.
• Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Knowledge of store inventory control preferred.
• PTCB certification or pharmacy license as required by state.
• Compliance with company policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Open and close the store in the absence of management, including systems start-ups and cash handling.
• Complete product returns, refunds, and cash drops to the safe; provide change.
• Engage customers and provide assistance to ensure a positive experience.
• Hold store keys to open/close without management as necessary; assist with vendor deliveries.
• Register sales and resolve scanning/price issues; assist in order review and reverse logistics.
• Assist in displays, pricing, and stock rotation; ensure accurate on-hand counts.
• Assist with bookkeeping tasks, cash reports, and bill payments as requested.
• Ensure compliance with laws on regulated products; maintain clean store appearance.
• Participate in training and communicate tasks when management is absent.
