Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Prior retail or customer service experience (1-3 years).
• Knowledgeable in Microsoft Word with advanced Excel skills.
• Ability to accurately perform basic math, reconcile cash, and identify discrepancies with high attention to detail.
• Must be 21+ years old and pass a criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Open and close procedures for the retail location.
• Maintain accurate cash handling procedures and reconcile variances.
• Authorize discounts and sales adjustments within parameters.
• Deliver high-quality customer experience across the journey.
• Log customers into required systems, verify ID, process POS transactions.
• Handle returns, exchanges, and employee purchases per policy.
• Maintain product displays, merchandising, labeling, and cleanliness.
• Support promotions, events, and in-store marketing initiatives.
• Escalate issues to Inventory Controller and management as needed.
• Assist onboarding and training of new team members and maintain floor coverage.
• Provide exceptional service during every customer interaction.
• Be a resource for team during shift transitions under manager direction.
