Job summary

Walgreens is hiring a Store Associate to support store opening/closing, cash handling, stocking, and delivering a responsive customer experience. You will assist with inventory, pricing, and backroom operations while maintaining compliance and safety standards.

You will engage customers, resolve questions, and help ensure a delightful shopping environment. Previous leadership experience and English fluency are valued, with pharmacy certifications considered where required.

Qualifications

• One year of leadership, supervisory, or key holder experience.
• Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Knowledge of store inventory control preferred.
• PTCB certification or pharmacy license may be required where state law dictates.

Responsibilities

• Opens and closes the store in the absence of management, handling cash and opening the back door for deliveries.
• Registers sales, cash handling, refunds, and price verification.
• Maintains inventory accuracy and supports displays and pricing.
• Engages customers to deliver a distinctive Walgreens experience.
• Liaisons between management and team; communicates tasks when management is absent.
