Job summary

Walgreens in Monroe, WI is seeking a dependable team member to open and close the store in the absence of management, perform required systems start-ups, handle cash and refunds, and ensure the floor and stock room are ready for the business day, including opening the back door for deliveries.

You will engage customers by greeting them and offering assistance, resolve issues to ensure a positive experience, support operations from pricing and inventory to cashiering, displays, and maintenance,

Qualifications

• One year of prior leadership, supervisory, or retail key holder work experience.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English. (Except in Puerto Rico)

Responsibilities

• Open and close the store in the absence of management.
• Complete cash handling, refunds, and cash drops to the safe.
• Ensure the floor and stock room are ready for the business day.
• Open back door for deliveries.
• Engage customers by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services.
• Resolve customer issues to ensure a positive customer experience.
• Model and share customer service best practices with team members.
• Hold store keys to open/close without management when needed.
• Assist with warehouse/vendor ordering, pricing tasks, and displays.
• Maintain accurate inventory counts and on-hand quantities.
• Assist with pricing changes and signage to support pricing compliance.
• Assist with bookkeeping tasks and store maintenance as needed.
• Ensure regulatory compliance for sensitive products and bag checks.
