Job summary

Qualifications

• One year of prior leadership, supervisory, or retail key holder work experience.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.

Responsibilities

• Opens and closes the store in the absence of store management, including start-ups, cash handling, and ensuring floor and stock room are ready for business day.
• Completes product returns, order voids, customer refunds, cash drops to the safe, and provides change to cash registers.
• Models and delivers a distinctive and delightful customer experience.
• Engages customers and patients by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services; resolves issues to ensure a positive experience.
• Models and shares customer service best practices with team members to deliver a delightful experience, including interpersonal habits and Walgreens service traits.
• Responsible for holding store keys to open and close without management, and assists with vendor deliveries and backdoor access.
• Registers all related sales on the cash register, including handling scanning errors, price verifications, and voids.
• Assists with order review, reverse logistics, displays development, pricing, and signage to support accurate pricing and local regulations.
• Maintains inventory counts across departments and stockroom; supports housekeeping and maintenance duties as needed.
• Ensures compliance with state and local laws for regulated products; bag checks of team members before leaving.
• Attends training and completes PPLs requested by Manager.
