Job summary

Walgreens in Brooklyn Park, MN is seeking an associate to support store operations and customer service when management is not on duty. You will open and close the store, handle cash tasks, assist with deliveries, and help ensure shelves and backrooms are ready for business.

You will engage customers, resolve issues, maintain accurate pricing and inventory, and help uphold a welcoming Walgreens shopping experience for all guests.

Qualifications

• One year of prior leadership, supervisory, or retail key holder work experience.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.

Responsibilities

• Open and close the store in the absence of store management, including systems start-ups and cash handling.
• Complete product returns, order voids, customer refunds, cash drops to the safe, and provide change as requested to cash registers.
• Model and deliver a distinctive and delightful customer experience.
• Hold store keys to open and close without management as necessary.
• Register all related sales on assigned cash register, including records of scanning errors and price verifications.
• Assist with vendor deliveries and backdoor access as needed.
• Maintain accurate inventory counts and store cleanliness, including stockroom and displays.
• Ensure proper signage and pricing in accordance with regulations and company policies.
