Job summary

goop kitchen is seeking a Shift Lead to act as an extension of management, overseeing daily kitchen operations and upholding our clean, health-conscious standards in food prep, sanitation and safety.

You will supervise kitchen staff, prepare dishes per established recipes, ensure portion control, plate presentation, and compliance with safety protocols while maintaining a positive work environment.

Qualifications

• 1 year of lead or supervisor experience in a fast-paced kitchen.
• Knowledge of clean eating principles and allergen-friendly cooking techniques.
• Strong leadership and communication to supervise and motivate staff.
• Excellent organizational skills with ability to multitask.

Responsibilities

• Oversee kitchen staff and maintain a positive, productive work environment.
• Prepare a variety of dishes using established recipes.
• Cook with broilers, ovens, grills and other kitchen equipment.
• Ensure quality, proper portions and plate presentation.
• Uphold sanitation and safety standards; manage storage and rotation.
• Assist with maintenance needs and enforce kitchen safety protocols.
