Job summary

Certified Collectibles Group (CCG) is hiring a Shift Lead for the CGC Comics division in our Sarasota, FL office. You will be a working lead on the 2nd shift, guiding a team of 10+ employees, managing workflow, and ensuring safe, efficient, on-time production.

This non-supervisory hourly role reports to the Department Supervisor. We offer an hourly rate of $20.00 with a 10% shift differential for the second shift, full-time hours, and a $1,000 hiring bonus for offers signed by September 30,

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in warehouse, manufacturing, distribution, or operations.
• Ability to lead by example and work effectively with a team.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage workflow in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

Sarasota, FL, On-site, Full-time, Monday–Friday (2nd Shift: 6:00 PM – 2:30 AM)

We’re looking for a Shift Lead to join our CGC Comics division to be a working lead who supports daily operations and serves as the primary point of contact for employees during the evening shift. This role provides guidance to a team of 10+ employees, helps manage workflow, answers questions, and ensures work is completed safely, efficiently, and on schedule in our Sarasota, FL office.

What You Will Do As The Shift Lead

• Provide day-to-day support and direction to employees during 2nd shift.

Note: This is a non-supervisory hourly position with no direct reports. Employees report to the Department Supervisor, who maintains responsibility for performance management, scheduling, attendance, and disciplinary actions.

What Makes You The Ideal Candidate

Required

• 2+ years of experience in a warehouse, manufacturing, distribution, or operations environment.
• Demonstrated ability to lead by example and work effectively with a team.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks, manage workflow, and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Preferred

• Previous experience as a Lead, Trainer, Senior Operator, or similar informal leadership role.
• Experience coordinating the work of multiple employees on a shift.
• Experience training or mentoring team members.
• Spanish-English bilingual proficiency is preferred to support effective communication with a diverse workforce.
