Job summary

Whistle Express is seeking a Shift Lead to set the standard on the lot when management is not on-site. This leadership role requires ownership, accountability, and the ability to keep a fast-paced operation running smoothly.

You’ll engage guests, train and guide the crew, ensure safety and quality, and handle opening/closing duties. The right candidate leads by example, communicates clearly, and drives performance across shifts.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience or demonstrated ownership
• Ability to lead by example and hold a team to high standards
• Physically active and comfortable working outdoors
• Strong communication and customer service focus
• Ability to stay calm and solve problems on shift

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide a positive experience; explain services and memberships clearly
• Promote unlimited wash memberships and other offerings to drive sales
• Direct vehicles into the wash tunnel with proper positioning and safety
• Inspect vehicles before/after wash and ensure quality standards
• Open/close procedures and lead the team in the absence of the Site Leader
• Delegate tasks and monitor team performance to keep operations on track
• Resolve operational issues quickly and escalate as needed
• Enforce safety protocols to protect customers and staff
• Provide feedback to improve processes and guest experience
• Identify opportunities to improve wash quality and efficiency
