Job summary

CHAGEE, a modern teahouse with a global footprint, seeks a Shift Lead in Costa Mesa, CA to support baristas, manage the POS, and deliver outstanding customer service especially during peak hours. You will lead by example, assist managers with coaching, and help with opening/closing procedures while promoting CHAGEE’s mission to make friends through tea and provide a premium guest experience.

The role requires 1+ year of barista and leadership experience, a flexible schedule including

Qualifications

• Barista experience of 1+ year preferred.
• Leadership experience of 1+ year preferred.
• Food Handling Certificate required or company-assisted.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support baristas with drinks during peak hours.
• Manage POS, cash handling, and card transactions.
• Lead by example and uphold CHAGEE values.
• Assist in opening/closing store procedures and staff assignment.
