Job summary

Levain Bakery is seeking a Shift Lead (Cookie Lead) to supervise shifts, support bakery operations, and mentor a team while maintaining top-tier customer service standards. The role emphasizes reliability, leadership, and a proactive, empathetic approach to both customers and staff.

Responsibilities include opening/closing the store, supervising tasks, handling cash, and ensuring health and safety compliance. Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of food service, QSR, or retail experience with supervisory preferred
• Open availability: mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays
• Must have valid DOH Certification and regional food handlers’ certifications

Responsibilities

• Lead shifts and supervise team members to ensure smooth operations
• Greet customers and uphold Levain’s brand standards and service level
• Oversee daily tasks, orders, and ensure food safety compliance (DOH)
