Job summary

CloudKitchens in the United States is seeking an Assistant Kitchen Manager to lead shifts, ensure food quality, safety, and inventory control. You will bridge software-guided operations with hands-on leadership in an automated kitchen environment.

Responsibilities include executing recipes, performing quality checkpoints, and coaching staff while managing sanitation and robotics maintenance. This role is onsite with full-time hours.

Qualifications

• Previous kitchen experience with a focus on team leadership or shift management.
• Meticulous attention to detail, specifically for portioning, weighing ingredients, and tracking food waste.
• Ability to follow and enforce precise, software-guided SOPs and adapt to tech-driven protocols.
• Demonstrated ability to coach teams and maintain high food safety standards.
• Comfort working in an automated kitchen environment (robotics training provided).

Responsibilities

• Own the shift end-to-end, executing recipes for proteins, vegetables, and sauces per SOPs.
• Conduct per-shift quality checkpoints, log results, and correct drift in quality.
• Manage sanitation through nightly cleaning protocols and robot component washing.
• Drive team culture through coaching and training, including shadowing new hires.
• Operate kitchen tech including induction stoves, combi ovens, blenders, blast chillers; troubleshoot robots.
• Perform end-of-week inventory counts to identify reordering needs.
