Lab37 Robotics is seeking an Assistant Kitchen Manager to lead shifts, ensure consistent prep, and uphold strict safety and quality standards in an automated kitchen environment. You will supervise a team, coach staff, and ensure proteins, vegetables, and sauces are prepared per software-guided SOPs.

Responsibilities include quality checks, sanitation, robotics interfacing, and inventory management, with robotics training provided. Onsite work with competitive hourly pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Previous kitchen experience with a focus on team leadership or shift management.
• Meticulous attention to detail for portioning, weighing ingredients, and tracking food waste.
• Ability to follow and enforce precise, software-guided SOPs in a tech-driven kitchen.
• Demonstrated ability to coach teams and maintain high food safety standards.
• Comfort working in an automated kitchen environment (robotics training provided).

Responsibilities

• Own the shift end-to-end, executing standardized recipes for proteins, vegetables, and sauces according to software-guided SOPs.
• Conduct per-shift quality checkpoints and log results to prevent drift in food quality.
• Oversee sanitation with nightly cleaning protocols and safety practices.
• Coach staff and lead new-hire shadowing and certifications.
• Operate kitchen tech and robotics, load hoppers, and troubleshoot basic issues.
• Perform end-of-week inventory counts to identify reordering needs.
