Lab37 Robotics seeks an Assistant Kitchen Manager to lead daily operations in our automated kitchen. You will supervise prep, ensure software-guided SOPs are followed, and coach the team to deliver consistent, high-quality bowls with strict safety standards.

Responsibilities include managing proteins, vegetables, and sauces, operating induction stoves and combi ovens, and coordinating with robotic systems for efficient workflow. On-site, full-time, with competitive pay.

Qualifications

• Previous kitchen leadership or shift-management experience.
• Attention to detail for portioning, weighing ingredients, and tracking waste.
• Ability to follow software-guided SOPs and adapt to tech-driven protocols.
• Proven coaching ability and food safety discipline.

Responsibilities

• Own the shift end-to-end and execute standardized recipes for proteins, vegetables, and sauces according to precise software-guided SOPs.
• Conduct per-shift quality checkpoints and log results to prevent drift in food quality.
• Manage sanitation through strict nightly cleaning protocols and waste tracking.
• Coach and train staff; shadowing and certification for new hires.
• Operate commercial kitchen tech including induction stoves, combi ovens, blenders, and blast chillers; troubleshoot robots.
• Perform end-of-week inventory counts and flag reordering needs.
