Applegreen is seeking a Shift Supervisor to lead shifts, ensuring team members deliver outstanding service and adhere to brand standards and food safety.

You will help train new hires, manage cash handling, and perform opening, closing, and POS duties while maintaining product quality and a positive plaza experience.

Qualifications

• Cash handling and customer service experience required.
• Shift supervisor or leadership experience preferred.
• Ability to interact with the public in a friendly, outgoing manner.

Responsibilities

• Lead the activities of team members on shift.
• Consistently provide friendly customer service by engaging in positive, helpful interactions with customers and resolve complaints.
• Complete opening, daily and closing procedures/checklists per company policies.
• Operate POS system, process payments, and follow cash handling policies.
• Ensure proper food handling procedures, including wrapping, labelling, dating, stocking, storing, rotating, and checking temperatures.
• Complete kitchen tasks such as prepping, thawing, cooking, packaging, wrapping, and cleaning.
• Stock, clean, and sanitize workstation and equipment.
• Cross-sell and up-sell products and maintain product knowledge.
• Assist in training new team members and follow brand standards and procedures.
• Inform plaza leadership of observations or problems and perform additional tasks as assigned.
• Follow required brand standards, food safety requirements, and all company policies.
