Job summary

Five Guys is seeking a Shift Leader in Nashville to drive daily operations, act as a hands-on mentor, and ensure top guest satisfaction on every shift. You’ll lead a small team across multiple roles, stepping in to support cashiers, grill, prep, and dining room tasks as needed.

The role emphasizes quick, accurate service, strong teamwork, and a calm, decisive approach in a fast-paced environment with opportunities for growth within the brand.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of restaurant, retail, or hospitality experience (leadership preferred).
• Team-first mindset with strong communication skills.
• Ability to lead by doing and stay cool in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic math and comfort using POS systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead the shift and run operations when management isn’t on site.
• Work in cashier, grill, prep, fries, dining room roles as needed.
• Deliver fast, accurate service and create a great guest experience.
• Coach, support, and motivate crew members to perform at their best.
• Help train new team members and maintain a positive culture.
• Keep the restaurant clean, safe, and up to brand standards.
• Manage shift tasks like breaks, cash handling, and closing reports.
