Job summary

Five Guys Operations LLC in Jacksonville, FL, is seeking a Shift Leader to guide fast-paced service and lead by example. You will work side-by-side with your team, setting the tone for each shift to ensure guests leave impressed.

You’ll handle multiple roles—from cashier to grill and dining room—learning quickly, coaching others, and maintaining brand standards while delivering quick, accurate service and a great guest experience.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of restaurant, retail, or hospitality experience (leadership preferred).

• Lead the shift and step in to run operations when management isn’t on site.
• Jump into every position—cashier, grill, prep, fries, dining room—no task is too small
• Deliver fast, accurate service and create a great guest experience every time
• Coach, support, and motivate crew members to perform at their best
• Help train new team members and build a strong, positive culture
• Keep the restaurant clean, safe, and up to brand standards
• Manage shift tasks like breaks, cash handling, and closing reports
