Job summary

Convive Brands is seeking a Shift Lead for our NYC Midtown West location. The role requires delivering friendly service, managing orders in the POS system, and supporting a fast-paced team in a busy restaurant environment.

The ideal candidate has 3–6 months of restaurant experience, familiarity with POS systems (Toast preferred), and a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the venue. This full-time position includes a benefits package and growth opportunities within Convive Brands.

Qualifications

• 3 to 6 months of related restaurant experience or training.
• Experience with POS systems, Toast, a plus.
• Flexibility in schedule is highly preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly and attentive service to all guests throughout the visit.
• Receive food and beverage orders, enter order into the POS, and coordinate with the kitchen.
• Anticipate guest needs and note preferences.
• Maintain knowledge of pastry, bread, kitchen, beverage, and retail items.
• Prepare drinks for the dining room as needed.
• Handle guest situations with empathy and escalate to a manager as needed.
• Complete opening, mid, and closing procedures; daily checklist and side work.
• Organize money and receipts per cash handling policy.
• Keep areas clean and organized following cleaning checklists.
