Job summary

Brightli is seeking a Shift Lead in Springfield, MO to mentor Behavioral Health Technicians and support a safe, therapeutic residential program for youth. You will participate in treatment planning, supervise staff, and help coordinate groups and activities.

The role emphasizes leadership, communication, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to promote positive youth outcomes and ongoing staff development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in related field; or HS diploma with 2 years of work history.
• Experience in human services preferred; exceptions may be approved by leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead and guide Behavioral Health Technicians on shifts.
• 29
• Foster safe, structured, therapeutic environment for clients.
• Assist with staff training, orientation and development.
• Facilitate educational, recreational, and therapeutic groups.
• Coordinate staffing coverage and scheduling needs.
• Prepare educational materials and program resources.
• Support crisis intervention and de-escalation with leadership.
• Ensure accurate regulatory documentation.
• Conduct performance evaluations for direct reports.
• Provide direct care and assist clients with treatment goals.
• Complete additional duties as assigned.
