Job summary

Five Guys is seeking a hands-on Shift Leader in Stockton, CA to guide operations on every shift. You’ll supervise by example, jump into every station, and ensure guests have an excellent experience. Qualifications

• 1–2 years of restaurant, retail, or hospitality experience; leadership preferred.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to lead by example.
• Ability to stay calm and make quick decisions in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic math skills and comfort using POS systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead the shift and run operations on site when management isn’t on site.
• Work across cashier, grill, prep, fries, and dining room roles.
• Deliver fast, accurate service and create a great guest experience.
• Coach and motivate crew members to perform at their best.
• Help train new team members and foster a positive culture.
• Keep the restaurant clean, safe, and up to brand standards.
• Manage shift tasks like breaks, cash handling, and closing reports.
