Five Guys Operations LLC in Vacaville, CA is seeking a Shift Leader who will lead by example on every shift, work side by side with the team, and ensure every guest walks out impressed. This hands-on leadership role requires coaching crew, running multiple positions, maintaining safety and brand standards, and delivering fast, accurate service in a busy kitchen and dining room.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of restaurant, retail, or hospitality experience (leadership preferred).
• Basic math and comfort using POS systems.
• Team-first mindset with strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the shift and step in to run operations when management isn’t on site.
• Jump into every position—cashier, grill, prep, fries, dining room.
• Deliver fast, accurate service and create a great guest experience.
• Coach, support, and motivate crew members to perform at their best.
• Help train new team members and uphold brand standards.
• Keep the restaurant clean, safe, and up to brand standards.
• Manage shift tasks like breaks, cash handling, and closing reports.
